Technical details

The system utilised a relay to switch between the azimuth and the elevation synchros as a cost saving measure - the Synchro to Binary Angle Converter module being such new technology at the time that it was too expensive to fit separate modules for each axis. The output of the unit fed a WF3 Raprint which in turn drove a teleprinter.
