WF44 Remote Control Unit
Technical details

General Description
The rear panel had a quantity of 'Jones' plugs and sockets which connected the unit via muticore cabling to the remote WF44 radar head or the remote end of a Radarplex System.

Construction
In total seven RCUs were built in the mid 1970s. Chris Heal built the first couple of RCUs, and the others were subcontracted to Zephur Products, a Mt Waverley based Melbourne firm.(1)
