Technical details

The 400Hz PRF for Windfinding was developed from the Encoder driven by the rotating feed at the centre of the antenna. The 275 Hz PRF for weather watch came from a free running miller-transitron oscillator in the transmitter cabinet.

30MHz 75db IF gain using Bandwidth Filter makeup amp to set bandwidth to 800kHz or 8MHz.
